President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday named a former governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babatunde Fashola (SAN), the Minister of Power, Works and Housing.
The ministry is a merger of three ministries: Power, Works as well as Housing, Land and Urban Development.
The President, shortly after inaugurating the ministers, also named a former governor of Rivers State, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, the Minister for Transportation.

  1. All the appointments has some level of merits and the expectations that base on the appointees antecedents and experience, they would deliver. However, Former go of Lagos, Mr. BAR. Babatunde Fashola as the Minister of power, Works and Housing. We all know his antecedent for efficiency and development, but what about his impatience for the poor. #God ready to pay more on electricity, tolling of our roads and rise in housing cost.
